Or year, or whatever. I would like to firstly mention that it's odd to have my birthday in the winter. I love summertime and my birthday is always in the summer. I get to do things like waterslides, outdoor barbecues, and wear flip flops on my birthday - that's the deal. But alas no; I have moved to a place where this isn't the case. Winter coat on my birthday, sunscreen on Christmas; this place really is backward.Anyway, this is weekend 1 of 2 of Kane and Angie's birthday extravaganza. Saturday we rented a car, drove down the Great Ocean road, stopped in a small town on the ocean called Lorne (Kangie film strip in Lorne pictured left), walked around and had lunch, then drove back for a night of fancy cake from Brunetti's and Big Lebowski with Marc and Alana (Malana). Me, cake and Malana pictured above - it was great.
Today we go to the mall to go shopping, then return the car. Next weekend we're hopefully going to do our overnight spa weekend if we can find an open booking somewhere desirable. Apparently it's school holiday so all the families are taking up our precious birthday weekend space. Part 2 of 2 will be completed next weekend.

Happy Birthday to you two! Maybe yall should just get a scooter that will fit 2 for the weekends. That's very un-nurselike to recommend riding a scooter but what the heck. Sounds fun! John and I (and the little one inside) cheers you both on your birthdays. BTW..did I tell you we're having a boy??
A boy?! Monique, you HAVE to name him John. You guys need another John in the family. Angie, I love that film strip. How you do dat? It was great talking to you on your bday.
